Family Emergency Evacuation Kit

If the hurricane happened in memphis, my family and I would do alot of things before and after it hit. The first thing we would do is watch the news to see when exactly the hurricane will hit. Then when we find out we would pack up and leave days before. The only thing I would I would treasure is my life and my family. But the things I would I bring with me that I truely would need would be bottled water, food, and clothing. The items I would miss would only be material things such as my bed, stereo, t.v., etc. that I could get later in life. I don't think there would be any information that my family would need to replace because it would be with us. Things such as pictures, birth certificates, etc. would be packed with everything else. But if everything was lost in the storm, I don't think I would know where and how to start. I think I would just have to go and live in a shelter because I can't stay with any other family member. Why? Because sometimes I have my little mood and don't want to be around folks so I just go somewhere where I can calm down such as my room, but if I lived with someone I couldn't do that so to avoid all that I just would stay in a shelter until I can get back on my feet which would be in no time.
