I found a site on the Web that lists the longest-running Broadway shows in history. Of the top ten listed, two of them (The Phanyom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast) are currently playing. Cats, which ran from October 1982 to Septmber 2000, is the all-time leader with 7,485 performances. The Phantom of the Opera, which ranks third on the list, has a chance of becoming the all-time leader. You may want to check the website (http://www.geocities.com/auzziek/broadway_list.html) to get the most current information for your report.
You mentioned that you thought The Fantasticks was the longest-running play on Broadway. It was the longest-running play in New York City, not Broadway. It closed on January 13, 2002, after 17, 162 performances covering a span of over 41 years. I believe that play may also hold the disinction of being the longest-running show in the United States.

Use the Zoom feature to increase or decrease the amount of the page appearing on the screen. As you decrease the amount of the page appearing on the screen, you will see less of the page, but the print will be larger. Larger print makes it easier to read and edit. As you increase the amount of the page appearing on the screen, the print becomes smaller, but you will see a larger portion of the page.
Quite often you will want to see the whole page on the screen to check the appearance.
(margins, spacing, graphics, tables, etc.) of the document prior to printing. You can display the whole screen by using the Zoom feature or the Print Preview feature.

Word processing software has two types of page breaks: soft and hard. Both kinds signal the end of a page and the begining of a new page. The software inserts a soft page break automatically when the current page is full. You insert hard page breaks manually when you want a new page to begin before the current one is full. When a hard page break is inserted, the wap software adjusts any following soft page breaks so that those pages will be full before a new one is started. Hard page breaks do not move unless you move them. To move a hard page break, you can (1) delete it and let the software insert soft page breaks, or (2) insert a new hard page break where you want it.
Most wp software has left tabs already set at half-inch (0.5")intervals from the left margin.
These preset tabs can be cleared and new tabs can be set. Most wp softwre lets you set Left tabs, Right tabs, and Decimal tabs.
Left tabs
Left tabs align all text evenly at the left by placing the text you key to the right of the tab setting. Left tabs are commonly used to align words.
Right tabs
Right tabs align all text evenly at the right by placing the text you key to the left of the tab setting. Right tabs are commonly used to align whole numbers.
Decimal tabs
Decimal tabs align all text at the decimal point or other character that you specify. If you key numbers in a column at a decimal tab, the decimal points will line up, regardless of the number of places before or after the decimal point.

Use the Hyphenation feature to give text a professional appearance. When the Hyphenation feature is activated, the software divides long words between syllables at the ends of lines.
